This past Sunday I had the privilege of shooting an engagement shoot with a great couple, Ryan and Heidy, they were tons of fun and very laid back as we drove around Moorpark and Westlake shooting photos. Thanks for making it such a great shoot guys!

Here are a few of my many favorites from the shoot:

Slideshow to follow! :)

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone out here in Southern California is doing all right after the shaky morning we had! I heard the quake was about a 5.8 but it wasn’t too bad in Camarillo. Although Joe was in the middle of the first day of the California State Bar Exam and he was only a few miles from the epicenter, as if those poor law graduates weren’t shaking enough! :)

Anyways, my internet has been a little up and down today so I better get this post out quick before I am internet-less once again.

As promised, here are a few more of the photos from my Anniversary shoot with John and Cindy!

I would like to say a big Happy 35th Anniversary to John and Cynthia Wilson. They are not only my loving parents but they are my constant support system and I feel so lucky to have been blessed with them. Without their love and support I would never have had the guts to go to Art school and dedicate myself to photography and my love of all things art. They continually let me be who I was going to be trusting in their parenting skills and God to make sure I turned out all right. I remember many sighs as I started to dye my hair funky bright colors beginning in eight grade and continuing through my first few years at college, or the many times I painted giant murals on my bedroom walls. They never tried to hold me back or re-direct me towards something more ‘practical’ and for that I am so thankful.

All that said, I have been fortunate enough to spend a good portion of the past week and a half with them as they rent a beach house here in Oxnard.
I would have liked to been able to post this Anniversary post to them, ya know, on their Anniversary last week but we have been pretty internet-less (?) here on the beach so I decided to actually spend the time with them instead of just writing about how great they are (and they are great).

I had the pleasure of taking their Anniversary photos right in front of the house on the beach.
I will post a few more within the next week or so.

I am running short on time at the moment so I’ll try not to make this too long.

I have known Richard all of my life, he is a fun loving and sweet hearted guy. So when I heard he was getting married to a special lady he met while in the army I was thrilled for him. When I met Jasmine (right as I was taking them out to shoot their engagement session) she seemed quiet and reserved, little did I know the spunky, sweet hearted and sarcastic girl that was to come out. We had a blast shooting their engagement photos (a few of which you can see in a post below) and just as much (if not more) at their wedding.

So here are just a few from their June wedding.
