So, if you have ever met with me for a wedding or engagement session consult you will know that I adore engagement guestbook albums. I absolutely love them as a way to utilize your rockin engagement session ala Marianne Wilson. It just so happens that I received a few new samples in the mail today as well as one for an awesome client! Since I am excited I figured I would share them with you today!

First up we have a very basic version of the guestbook. It is more like a coffee table style book. Still very nice pages (about twice the thickness as an average photo book you might find in the store). It also lays almost perfectly flat so you can take in the great 2-page spreads. I like this book as a more basic or casual option for brides.

Shown – 8×8 22-sides

Ok, now of to the real money. This guest book is the creme de la creme of engagement guest books. Press printed pages that are put together like a flushmount wedding album. They feel elegant and very substantial when you hold on to them, these babys are going to last. Mixed with awesome covers to suite your wedding and a metal plate cameo  (photograph printed onto a metal plate, how cool is that?!).

This one is shown with a premium leather upgrade in Autumn as well as a few additional spreads:

I just have to give a shout to my adorable pup Penny, I love her attitude, regal stance, and antenna like ears (and she’s really good at army crawling).

I might be a teeny tiny bit bias, but I think she’s the cutest. I’m just sayin, she’s adorable and she’s from the streets so she’s tough as nails.

What’s this have to do with wedding photography? Oh…not much. Just know this little girl has my back :)

I just want to give a quick shout out and link love over to my gals at Groom Sold Separately, an up and coming wedding blog with some great inspiration! Miss Amy over there did a lil blog feature a few days back on yours truly.

It always means a lot to me when other wedding pros and bloggers ask me questions or want to feature my work. It’s also a great time filling out those interviews and talking to my blogging friends, it really gives me time to reflect on my business. Where it’s come from and where it is going. So check that out and all their other awesome posts for some great wedding design inspiration!

I am always excited when I am contacted on the 'down low' by one of my brides wanting to do a Boudoir session for their soon-to-be hubby. It's such a fun process and a great time to have those sassy sexy photos to present to your new hubs on your wedding day (before the ceremony perhaps?). When Nalani contacted me about doing one I was stoked. Being that she was only in town every once n awhile we needed to plan around her California trips. After talking to her for awhile about where she might want to have it we finally decided on the beach. How daring huh? It was the perfect location for her since their engagement session/wedding/Rock the dress sessions were all in the Ventura area, right on/near the beach! It was the perfect compliment to her wedding collection.

One thing to note about Boudoir sessions is you can be as sexy as you like or as conservative as you want. It all depends on your style and what you are comfortable with. Also, Nalani was happy to let me share her images with you all but that is definitely something that would be discussed and handled on a shoot by shoot basis to protect everyone's privacy.

So here are a few from her unique daring Beach Boudoir session!
