The other morning I nearly jumped with joy when I saw the big UPS box on my front porch. My 12×12 flush mount sample with premium leather had arrived!! I also received an 8×8 duplicate parent album so you can see exactly what you will get when you order an album and a parent album. I couldn’t wait to post a preview of these two gorgeous albums. Want to see these in person? Lets get together over coffee and talk more.

As I was browsing one of my favorite websites, Etsy.com, for wedding accessories to feature I stumbled upon an amazing item I would have never thought to post about.

Cuff links!

These are another fun way for guys to spice up their wedding wear and have a little fun. I think someones wedding should embody who they are and you can find cuff links of so many types that do exactly that. From vintage to modern from classic to funky there is something out there for every groom. Special cuff links would make a perfect gift for your husband-to-be or even groomsmen.

So here are some of my favorites:

I’d like to introduce you to Parveen officially. She is a high school senior from the Thousand Oaks area and was a lot of fun to shoot with. Earlier this year Parveen actually had other Senior photos taken by a bigger local studio that does a lot of the seniors in the area. They turned out great and she looked lovely in them! She just wanted to get some images that were more her style and not in the studio setting. Nothings wrong with going to a portrait studio if that is the look you are going for. Just know that there are many more options that might fit your needs/style.

On to Parveen!

Before I get to the meat of this post I want to give a big shout out to Kat over at Rock ‘N Roll Bride.com. Kat just featured two of my recent engagement sessions on her blog. So a big congrats to Amanda and Tommy as well as Christy and Saul for having their engagement sessions featured. Kat is always adding new photographs of wedding/engagements that are awesome so it is a great resource for brides looking for inspiration. Do you understand what I am getting at? On with the post!

So, if you know me, you know I love shoes. Heck, if you have seen my photographs you know I love shoes. Unfortunately I am cursed with very high insteps. I am talking ballerina insteps, I so missed my calling. This makes it tough for me to find rockin shoes that actually fit my feet. Or, at least, don’t look like my feet are popping out of the shoe.

But! That does not keep me from lusting over all varieties of shoes. That brings me to one of my first wedding / engagement session ideas/tips post. Shoes!

Just like at any other occasion shoes can make or break an outfit. They can spice up your little black dress or they can play up the colors in your outfit. They are an easy accessory to change and you can have a lot of fun with them. So I have compiled some of my favorite shoes I have seen lately so that you can get some ideas. Do you have to wear funky shoes? Of course not! I want you to feel like you, just let these inspire you and bring your A game. The idea is to look AND feel your best and to also have some fun with your sessions.
